The Clean Valley Council is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization that provides education and advocacy for litter prevention, recycling, and sustainable use of our natural resources. Our efforts could not happen without the generous financial support from sponsors and donors like you. Your donation will help support our keystone efforts such as our education programs, Earth Summit, Clean Valley Day, Fall Waterways Cleanup, E-waste collection events, ADM Scholarship Fund and more. We welcome your donation in many forms, whether it is a financial contribution, an in-kind gift or a donation of your time that will help us continue to provide these great programs and events.

Education Programs
Your donation goes to support our wonderful educational programs and events. Our fantastic certified and experienced environmental educators are out in the schools, teaching kids from kindergarten to 12th grade, throughout the Roanoke valley. We offer 35 different educational programs and continue to upgrade and update our programs. We provide these programs free of charge to the schools and see on average 20,000 to 30,000 students each year! We also provide additional support and educational materials for teachers.See our Education section for more information on our programs. In addition to school programs we are also happy to provide great workshops and presentations to civic groups and clubs, church organizations and colleges. Let us share the latest on recycling, waste-stream reduction, litter-prevention, stormwater pollution prevention or other environmental topics with your group.
Events
We also support our community through participatory events that help make our Valley and environment a better place. Clean Valley Day is an annual springtime event that started over 30 years ago and is still going strong. We have hundreds and even thousands of citizen volunteers that come out each spring to help cleanup our Valley. In the Fall we do another annual cleanup, Fall Waterways Cleanup, that primarily focuses on gettin the trash and tires out of our rivers, creeks and streams.Literally hundreds of tons of trash and thousands of tires have been picked up by our volunteers, leaving a cleaner, healthier and more beautiful environment.
Ann. D. Masters Scholarship Fund
In 2011, a new Scholarship Fund was established to honor the late Ann D. Masters. We are working to make sure this fund grows and develops to support an annual scholarship for students working towards pursuing environmentally focused studies or programs.
