Meet McKenzie Brocker

Mckenzie Brocker is the City of Roanoke Stormwater Utility's Water Quality Administrator. She has worked for more than eight years with the Stormwater Utility, where she has led the bacterial monitoring program, MS4 compliance, and graphic design. She has Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies with a minor in Restoration Ecology from the University of Washington and a Graduate Certificate in Global Sustainability from Virginia Tech. When not sampling in the Roanoke River or its tributaries, she enjoys the Roanoke outdoors, gardening, traveling, and helping out the Roanoke River Project.
