Meet Clark BeCraft

Clark BeCraft is coordinator of the Virginia Western Community College Horticulture Program and Community Arboretum, which includes a greenhouse, where students get hands-on horticultural experience.

 

Clark has more than 15 years’ experience in landscape and garden center horticulture experience and 15 years’ experience in teaching and growing horticulture at Virginia Western Community College.

 

Clark has an Associate of Applied Science degree from Virginia Western and a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture from Virginia Tech.

 

He enjoys spending time with his family and the children’s ministry at church, and working on home renovations.

Plants from Plants- The Basics of Plant Propagation

Pollinators are necessary to maintain our food supply, clothing and textiles, building materials, and so much more! In this workshop, students will learn about the importance of native pollinators as well as best practices for providing safe and healthy habitats for pollinators in their neighborhoods and surrounding community.
