About The Event
Join Clean Valley Council as we celebrate the start of Clean Valley Day, a month-long volunteer campaign to spring clean the Roanoke Valley, with a kickoff cleanup on Saturday, April 4, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Roanoke Mountain Adventures.
The public is invited, and all ages are welcome.
Clean Valley Council will distribute FREE litter-pickup supplies at RMA for the kick-off cleanup along the greenway or for a cleanup that you may be planning at a different time in April. Please register for the kickoff cleanup here. If you plan to have a litter cleanup on another day in April, register here.
To join in this community cleanup in April:
1) Pick your spot – a playground, roadside, stream bank, or your own neighborhood.
2) Go solo or pick your team. This can be a fun team-building opportunity for corporations, civic organizations, youth, and church groups.
