About The Event

Join us in creating large parade puppets and march with them in the Daisy Art Parade on Saturday, May 9. Our community message using aquatic macroinvertebrate puppets is: Keep our waterways clean!

Clean Valley Council will host puppet-making workshops every Tuesday through April 28, from 5:30-7:30 p.m., at our location inside Heights Community Church. Resident artist Leslie Santapaul will offer inspiration and guidance. All skill levels are welcome.

Please register to let us know you are coming to one or all of our workshops and share with your family and friends. To enter HCC for the workshops, use the Welcome Center entrance on the Roanoke Co+Op side.

Daisy Art Parade krewes will bring their puppets to life as they march around River's Edge Park North on Saturday, May 9. A carnival with vendors and artists offering fun-loving activities will follow. Check out the separate Daisy Art Parade event to register to participate.
