Can I get a refund?
No. We need our vendors and exhibitors to honor their commitments to participate.
What if it rains?
This is a rain-or-shine event that cannot be rescheduled. Please be prepared for the possibility
of rain and/or wind. Weights to secure your tent are required.
Will you provide electricity and can vendors bring generators?
No. We cannot accommodate electrical outlets or generators.
Could we offer a presentation or demonstration at our booth or elsewhere at the event?
Yes! We would love it and think it would enhance your presence at Roanoke Earth Day
Celebration. Please enter a description of your exhibit plans in your registration, and we will
promote on social media ahead, and on the day, of the event.
How will you promote Roanoke Earth Day Celebration?
Widely! We will promote the event and vendors/exhibitors on social media and on our Roanoke
Earth Day Celebration webpage. You can help us by providing a short description of your
business and what you are planning for your booth.
What if I need more exhibit space?
We are selling 10' x 10' spaces. If your exhibit is larger, you'll need to purchase an additional 10'
x 10' space.
What exhibit materials am I responsible for bringing?
Tent and weights, tables and table covers, chairs, signage, promotional materials, and
merchandise (vendors and craftspeople). We also recommend bringing a dolly/hand truck to
move your materials from your car to your exhibit space.
What time is set up?
Please plan to arrive between 8-8:30 a.m. Quickly unload and park your vehicle, and then begin
setting up. We ask that you complete the setup by 9:30 a.m.
Can I leave early?
Vendors and exhibitors should plan to stay for the duration of the event, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Plan to break down your exhibit between 3-3:30 p.m. You can pack up your vehicle when the
road is reopened between 3:30-4 p.m.
How many visitors are expected?
On average 2,000+ have attended Roanoke's Earth Day celebrations.
Where can I park?
On-street parking in the surrounding neighborhood and in the parking lots beside and behind
Roanoke Co+op.
Can I sell bottled water?
No. We want to be gentle on our Earth. Water-filling stations may be available, so bring your
reusable water bottles and cups.
Can I bring food?
Yes! You are welcome to bring your own lunch, snacks, and drinks. Our great Grandin Village
restaurants and shops will be open for business.
What about bathrooms?
Portable bathrooms and washing station will be centrally located.
What if I need assistance or experience a problem during the event?
Contact Marc Lucht, our site coordinator, on his cell phone at 540-808-3685. All event staff and
volunteers will be wearing yellow Clean Valley Council vests and will be happy to help resolve
issues or find your booth space. We also will be onsite at our CVC information table.
Who do I contact if I have questions ahead of the event?

When will I know my booth location?
Space assignments will be emailed to registrants one week prior to the event.
