About The Event
Volunteers will work with a team to create large parade puppets and march with them in the Daisy Art Parade on Saturday, May 9. Our message: Keep our waterways clean!
Resident artist Leslie Santapaul will offer inspiration and guidance. All skill levels are welcome.
Clean Valley Council will host the puppet-making workshop every Tuesday through April 28, from 5:30-7:30 p.m., at our location inside Heights Community Church. Please use the Welcome Center entrance on the Roanoke Co+Op side of the church.
A krewe is composed of members of a parade group ahead of Mardis Gras. Daisy Art Parade krewes will bring life to their puppets as they march around River's Edge Park North. The Daisy Art Carnival will follow.
