RESOURCES
We support our region and its communities by providing free educational resources and supplies for related activities. These resources are focused in five key environmental areas. Understanding the related laws, the impacts on our environment and the many options available is crucial to our communities' efforts to maintain the beauty of our natural world.
We offer resources online, thru the educational programs we teach in our school systems, our outreach efforts at community events and the events our organization sponsors during the year.
Litter
Understand how litter degrades our environment, litter laws and the many volunteer opportunities available
Reuse
Reusing items extends their lifespan, reduces waste and creates endless opportunities for unique and creative options
Recycling
Recycling reduces landfill waste and helps create new materials that can be used in place of those more costly to produce
Composting
Composting reduces landfill waste while producing high quality soil
Stormwater
Stormwater carries pollutants from hard surface runoff into our local streams, rivers and lakes on its way to the ocen
ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION SCHOOL PROGRAMS
We offer free educational programs covering a variety of topics for grades from Kindergarten thru High School. These are conducted in-person, virtually or project-based depending on the specific program.
